Why use custom properties for survey targeting?
Custom properties enable Userorbit users to deliver surveys only to relevant segments-such as trial users, users who adopted a feature, or accounts in a certain region.
Steps to add and use custom properties in survey targeting
- In the Surveys module, click Create Survey or select an existing survey.
- In the "Targeting" section, find the "Audience" field and click the "+Rule" button to open the property selection dropdown where you can select custom properties.
- If you need a new custom property, go to Contacts > Properties tab in Userorbit and click Add Contact Property before returning to your survey audience selection.
- Apply rules like "Plan is Premium" or "Onboarded After Jan 1, 2025" to refine your survey recipients.
