Authenticator verification adds a code check for protected administrator actions. Manage it from your profile's Authenticator verification section.

Set up an authenticator

  1. Open your profile and find Authenticator verification.
  2. Complete the current-password check if requested. A recent passwordless sign-in can replace that check.
  3. Select Set up authenticator.
  4. Add the setup key to your authenticator using six-digit codes and a 30-second interval.
  5. Enter the current code and select Confirm authenticator within the displayed setup period.
  6. Save the recovery codes in a secure place, then select I saved my recovery codes.

Recovery codes are shown only at creation and each works once. Never include setup keys, authenticator codes or recovery codes in support screenshots.

Verify an administrator session

When requested, enter an authenticator or recovery code and select Verify this administrator session. Complete any password or recent-sign-in check shown.

Replace recovery codes

Use Replace recovery codes after completing verification. Save the new codes securely.

If you lose access to both your authenticator and all recovery codes, contact support for the identity-verification process. Do not share passwords or codes with support.
