Manage your personal profile settings

Your Userorbit profile controls how you appear to team members and, in some cases, to customers when you respond to feedback or publish announcements. Keeping your profile up to date ensures clear communication within your team.

Accessing your profile

Click your avatar or initials in the bottom-left corner of the Userorbit dashboard. Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu. This opens your personal profile page where you can edit all account details.

Changing your name

Your display name appears on internal comments, feedback responses, and anywhere your identity is shown within the workspace.

  1. On the Profile Settings page, locate the Full Name field.
  2. Clear the existing name and type your updated name.
  3. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Your updated name takes effect immediately across the workspace.

Updating your email address

Your email address is used for login and notifications. To change it:

  1. Locate the Email field on the Profile Settings page.
  2. Enter your new email address.
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Check your new email inbox for a verification link. Click the link to confirm the change.

Until you verify the new email, your old email remains active for login and notifications. If you do not receive the verification email, check your spam folder or click Resend Verification.

Uploading or changing your avatar

A profile photo helps team members identify you quickly in comments and activity feeds.

  1. Click the avatar circle on the Profile Settings page.
  2. Select an image file from your computer. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF. Maximum size: 5 MB.
  3. Crop or adjust the image if prompted.
  4. Click Save to apply the new avatar.

If you do not upload a custom avatar, Userorbit displays your initials with a colored background.

Changing your password

  1. Scroll to the Security section on the Profile Settings page.
  2. Enter your Current Password for verification.
  3. Enter your New Password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and should include a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
  4. Confirm the new password by entering it again.
  5. Click Update Password.

After changing your password, your current session remains active. Other active sessions on different devices will be signed out for security.

Additional profile options

  • Timezone — set your local timezone so that timestamps display correctly for you.
  • Language — select your preferred language for the dashboard interface.

Tips

  • Use a real photo as your avatar for easier team collaboration.
  • Use a strong, unique password that you do not reuse from other services.
  • If your organization uses SSO, some profile fields may be managed by your identity provider.
