Send agent proposals to a Slack channel so reviewers can inspect the proposed work before approval.

Configure the review channel

  1. Open Settings → Channels → Slack and connect the workspace if needed.
  2. Find Agent proposal approvals and choose the review channel.
  3. Select the Proposal types to include: Release announcements, Help center articles, Feedback follow-ups, Support follow-ups, or Coding dispatches.
  4. Choose Minimum priority: All priorities, Medium and high, or High only.
  5. Under Admin approval, decide whether editors can approve. Owners and admins can always approve; enable the editor option only when those teammates should have that responsibility.
  6. Turn on Hide customer identity if customer names and email addresses should be removed from Slack notifications.

Changes save as you update the settings. Keep at least one proposal type selected while approvals are enabled, or disable Slack approvals.

Check the configuration

Confirm the channel, proposal types, priority threshold, and approval permissions. When a matching proposal is ready for review, check that it appears in the chosen channel and that its contents match the configured privacy setting.

Use a dedicated review channel that the responsible teammates monitor. These notifications are separate from support new-thread alerts and queue digests.
