Voiceovers add spoken guidance to product tour steps. They are useful for onboarding, training, accessibility support, and demos where users benefit from.
Voice-over adds spoken guidance to a product tour step. Use generated speech, record with your microphone, or upload an audio file.
Add voice-over
- Edit a step and go to Advanced > Voice-over.
- Turn on Enable voice-over for this step.
- Choose Synthetic to generate speech or Manual to record or upload audio.
- For generated speech, choose an English-US voice and tone, optionally override the narration text, then generate and preview it.
- Choose whether audio should autoplay when browser policy allows.
- Save and preview the step.
Limits
- Generated narration is limited to 4,096 characters and consumes your workspace's metered AI quota.
- Keep visible step text for viewers who use the tour without sound.
- Speed and Pitch controls are visible, but do not currently change the default generated voice output.
Troubleshooting
- If autoplay is blocked, viewers can start audio manually.
- If generation fails, shorten the narration and check AI quota.
