Use the announcement editor to explain what changed, who it affects and what users can do next.

Draft the announcement

  1. Enter a clear title.
  2. Describe the change in the opening paragraph.
  3. Add the steps or details users need.
  4. Add relevant links and images using the editor's controls.
  5. Preview the result.

Use headings for distinct topics and numbered lists for procedures. Link directly to related help articles or the relevant product page.

Check channel-specific content

The announcement body and its promotional channels can use different content. In Channels > Email, review the email Subject and Body. In Channels > In-app, review the promotion content.

An interactive demo can be presented differently in email, where interactive embeds are not supported. Preview the email's linked representation as well as the web version.

Do not assume that pasting any video URL creates a supported embed. Use the available editor insertion controls and check the saved preview before publishing.
