Move an article when another collection better matches the customer's task. On the Organize page, you can move and reorder articles directly in the default-language collection tree.

Move with drag and drop

  1. Go to Help Center > Help Center. The page title is Organize.
  2. Switch to the default language if you are viewing a translation.
  3. Find the article in its current collection.
  4. Drag the article onto the destination collection. Userorbit appends it to the end.
  5. Drag it between article rows to choose its final position.
  6. Check the desktop or mobile preview.

Move from article settings

Open the article's collection selector, add the destination collection, and remove the old collection when the article should no longer appear there. An article may belong to more than one collection.

Language behavior

Translated views cannot be dragged. Default-language structure and order are synchronized to translations where matching translated content exists.

Troubleshooting

  • If an article is not in the tree, add it to a collection first; the All articles table cannot be dragged into the tree.
  • If the article disappears publicly, confirm both the article and destination collection are published/public.
