Userorbit makes it straightforward to manage your subscription, update billing details, and keep track of your usage. This guide walks you through everything you need to know about managing your plan.
View your current plan
To see which plan you are currently on:
- Log in to your Userorbit workspace.
- Click on Settings in the left sidebar.
- Select Billing from the settings menu.
The billing page displays your current plan name, the billing cycle (monthly or annual), your next billing date, and a summary of your usage across key limits like contacts, team members, and projects.
Upgrade your plan
If you are hitting usage limits or need access to advanced features, upgrading is simple:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Change Plan or Upgrade.
- Review the available plans and select the one that fits your needs.
- Confirm your selection. If you are on a paid plan already, the cost difference will be prorated — you only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Upgrades take effect immediately. You will have instant access to the new plan's features and higher limits.
Downgrade your plan
If you need to move to a lower tier:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the plan you want to move to.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until then. Before downgrading, check that your current usage (contacts, team members, projects) does not exceed the lower plan's limits. If it does, you will need to reduce your usage before the downgrade takes effect.
Update your billing information
To update your payment method or billing details:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Manage Billing to open the billing portal.
- From here you can update your credit card, change your billing email address, and edit your company name or tax ID for invoices.
Changes to your payment method apply to all future charges. If a previous payment failed due to an expired card, updating your card will trigger a retry automatically.
View and download invoices
Every payment generates an invoice that you can access at any time:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Manage Billing to open the billing portal.
- Navigate to the Invoices section.
- Click on any invoice to view it, or use the download button to save a PDF.
Invoices include the plan name, billing period, amount charged, and any applicable taxes. If you need a custom field on your invoices (such as a purchase order number), update your billing details in the billing portal.
Understand usage limits
Each plan comes with specific limits on:
- Contacts — The total number of identified users tracked in your workspace.
- Team members — The number of people on your team who can access the Userorbit dashboard.
- Projects — The number of separate projects you can create within your workspace.
- Modules — Some modules or advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans.
You can monitor your current usage against these limits on the billing page. Userorbit will notify you when you approach a limit so you can plan ahead. If you exceed a limit, you will be prompted to upgrade or reduce usage before you can add more.
Cancel your subscription
If you need to cancel, go to Settings > Billing and click Cancel Subscription. Your workspace will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your workspace will be moved to the free plan. Your data is retained, so you can reactivate at any time without losing your history.
