When to use bulk actions

When your agent inbox contains many proposals — after a busy weekend, a product launch, or a feedback spike — reviewing them one by one can be time-consuming. Bulk actions let you approve, reject, or manage multiple inbox items at once.

Selecting multiple items

In the agent inbox list view, each item has a checkbox on the left side. Click the checkbox next to each item you want to include in your bulk action. To select all visible items at once, click the Select all checkbox at the top of the list.

If you have filtered the inbox (by agent, action type, or date range), the select-all checkbox applies only to the filtered results, not the entire inbox.

Available bulk actions

Once you have selected one or more items, a bulk action toolbar appears at the top of the inbox. The available actions include:

  • Approve all — Approves every selected proposal. Each agent action will execute as if you had approved it individually. Use this when you have reviewed the proposals and are confident they are all acceptable.
  • Reject all — Rejects every selected proposal. No actions are taken, and the items are moved to the rejected log.

Step-by-step: bulk approve

  1. Open the Agent Inbox from the sidebar.
  2. Optionally, apply filters to narrow down to a specific agent or action type.
  3. Review the visible proposals to confirm they meet your standards.
  4. Click the Select all checkbox, or manually select the items you want to approve.
  5. Click Approve all in the toolbar.
  6. Confirm the action when prompted. The selected proposals will execute.

Step-by-step: bulk reject

  1. Open the Agent Inbox.
  2. Select the items you want to reject.
  3. Click Reject all in the toolbar.
  4. Confirm. The items are removed from the inbox and logged as rejected.

Safety considerations

Bulk actions are powerful and should be used carefully:

  • Review before approving in bulk. Scan through the selected proposals to make sure none of them contain errors or inappropriate content. Even a quick scan can catch outliers.
  • Use filters first. Narrow the inbox to a specific agent or task type before bulk-approving. This reduces the chance of accidentally approving unrelated proposals.
  • Check confidence scores. Sort by confidence and bulk-approve only high-confidence items. Review lower-confidence items individually.

After bulk actions

Processed items disappear from the active inbox. You can view them in the completed or rejected sections to audit what was done. If you notice issues after bulk-approving, you can undo certain actions (like unpublishing content) from the relevant module.
