Creating a new conversation

To start a new conversation, open the AI assistant and click the New conversation button at the top of the chat panel. This gives the agent a clean context so it can focus on your new topic without being influenced by previous messages.

You can create as many conversations as you need. Each one is stored independently with its own context and history.

Switching between conversations

Click the conversation list icon (or the back arrow, depending on your view) to see all your past conversations. Each entry shows the conversation title — which is typically derived from your first message — along with the date of the last activity.

Click any conversation to resume it. The full message history loads so you can review what was discussed and continue from where you left off.

Finding a past conversation

If you have many conversations, use the search bar at the top of the conversation list. Type a keyword related to your topic — for example, "changelog" or "feedback response" — and the list filters to show matching conversations.

Conversations are sorted by most recent activity by default, so recent topics appear at the top.

Renaming a conversation

The assistant automatically assigns a title based on your first message, but you can rename it for easier reference. Open the conversation, click the title or the three-dot menu, and select Rename. Enter a descriptive name like "Q2 changelog drafts" or "Onboarding article rewrites."

Deleting a conversation

To delete a conversation, open the conversation list, hover over the conversation you want to remove, and click the Delete option from the three-dot menu. You will be asked to confirm before the conversation is permanently removed.

Deleted conversations cannot be recovered. If a conversation contains useful drafts or information, copy the relevant content before deleting.

Tips for organizing conversations

  • One topic per conversation. Keeping each conversation focused on a single topic makes it easier to find later and helps the agent maintain relevant context.
  • Use descriptive names. Rename conversations when the auto-generated title does not clearly describe the topic.
  • Clean up regularly. Delete conversations you no longer need to keep your list manageable.
  • Start fresh when context drifts. If the agent's responses become less relevant after a long conversation, create a new one and restate your current goal.
