Create a survey from a template or start with a blank survey, then configure its questions, design and targeting.

Build the survey

  1. Open Surveys and create a survey.
  2. Choose a template that fits the question you want to answer, or choose a blank survey.
  3. In Questions, add and edit the questions. Available types are Message, Text Input, Multi choice - Single Option, Multi choice - Multiple Option, Rating and Buttons.
  4. Review Design and preview the survey.

An NPS template provides a starting point for the questions. It does not add a calculated NPS dashboard.

Choose when it appears

In Targeting, choose Show once or Show every time. Choose a manual start or an automatic event trigger. For an event trigger, your application must send the event used by the survey.

Choose All users, User Segment or Specific users and configure the audience. Review the delivery priority if several experiences may qualify together; higher priority wins and zero is neutral.

Test and publish

Test with a demo user whose attributes match the audience. Complete the survey and check that the answers appear in the response table. Then publish the survey.

After publication, use analytics to review starts, completions, the step funnel and individual responses.
