Connect Slack for two different jobs: internal Userorbit notifications and customer support channels. Configure them separately.

Connect the workspace

  1. Go to Settings > Channels > Slack or Support > Channels.
  2. Install or reconnect the Userorbit Slack app.

Connect a customer support channel

  1. Under Support channels, choose Connect a channel.
  2. Select the Slack channel.
  3. If it is private or Userorbit cannot join automatically, invite @Userorbit in Slack.
  4. Choose an ingestion mode: Group nearby messages, Thread per message, or Emoji capture.
  5. Post a customer-authored test message and confirm it appears in Support.

Limits

  • A Slack channel can belong to only one Userorbit workspace.
  • Bot and teammate-authored top-level messages are ignored as customer requests.
  • Disabling a connected channel stops new ingestion without disconnecting the Slack workspace.
