This guide shows you how to analyze your checklist performance data within the Userorbit Admin Panel to identify areas for improvement and optimize your user onboarding flows.
Before You Begin
- Access to the Userorbit Admin Panel.
- Existing checklists deployed to users.
Steps
- Navigate to the Checklist Analytics Dashboard — From the Userorbit Admin Panel, navigate to the "Checklists" section. Select the specific checklist you wish to analyze, then locate and click on the "Analytics" tab or section associated with that checklist.
- Review Key Performance Metrics — Identify the "Total Users Started" metric to understand the checklist's reach. Examine the "Completion Rate" to gauge overall checklist effectiveness, and look at "Average Items Completed" to see how far users typically progress.
- Analyze Per-Item Completion Rates — Scroll down to view a breakdown of completion rates for each individual item within your checklist. Identify items with significantly lower completion rates, which may indicate friction points.
- Identify Potential Blocking Items — Look for sharp drops in completion rates between consecutive checklist items. These indicate users are getting stuck or abandoning the checklist at that specific point.
- Compare Checklist Variants (if applicable) — If you have A/B tested different versions of a checklist, use the analytics dashboard to compare their key metrics side-by-side. Focus on completion rates and per-item performance to determine which variant is more effective.
- Utilize Data for Optimization — Based on your analysis of blocking items and low per-item completion rates, formulate hypotheses for improvement (e.g., rephrase an item, add a tooltip, simplify a step). Implement changes and monitor the analytics to measure the impact of your optimizations on checklist performance.
