This guide shows you how to create AI translation drafts for many Help Center articles at once. Use bulk translate when you add a new Help Center language, fill gaps in an existing language, or regenerate translated drafts after updating the source articles.
Before you begin
You must be an admin or a team member with permission to update Help Center articles.
Your Help Center must have at least one additional language configured.
Keep the default language articles up to date first. Userorbit uses the default language as the source of truth for generated drafts.
Steps
Open the Help Center workspace.
In Userorbit, go to Help Center. The article organizer shows your collections, article translation status, and a live preview for the selected language.
Select the language you want to translate into.
Use the language selector at the top of the organizer. Bulk translation actions are available when you are viewing a non-default language.
Open translation actions.
Click the translation action button beside the language selector. Choose Retranslate missing articles to create drafts only where that language has no article yet. Choose Retranslate all articles to regenerate drafts for every source article in the Help Center.
Confirm the bulk translation run.
Review the confirmation dialog, then click Create drafts. Userorbit queues AI translation drafts using the default language as the source of truth.
Review generated drafts.
Wait for the translation status to finish generating, then open articles with AI draft indicators. Review titles, formatting, links, screenshots, and any product-specific wording before publishing.
Publish the translations you approve.
Open each ready draft and publish it when it is accurate. Generated drafts are not public until you publish them.
Choose the right scope
Missing articles creates drafts only for source articles that do not already have a translation in the selected language.
All articles creates fresh drafts for the selected language, including articles that already have translated versions.
Collection actions let you retranslate a collection and its subcollections from the collection menu.
Article actions let you regenerate a draft for one article from that article row.
Verify it worked
Articles that were missing translations should now show generated translation drafts or draft progress for the selected language.
Published articles stay unchanged until you publish a reviewed draft.
The Help Center preview should show the selected language route after translations are published.
Troubleshooting
The translation action is disabled — switch from the default language to the language you want to translate into.
An article was skipped — confirm the source article exists in the default language and belongs to a translated collection.
A draft is still generating — wait a few minutes and refresh the article list. If it fails, retry the draft from the article translation view.
The result needs edits — edit the draft before publishing. Bulk translate creates drafts so you can review localized wording before it goes live.
Quick note: translate a category name
When you add a translated Help Center collection, you can use AI to translate the category name before saving it.
Open the translated collection dialog.
In the translated language view, add the missing collection translation. The dialog shows the source collection name and the target language.
Generate the translated name.
Click the AI translate button beside the Name field. Userorbit fills in the translated category name, which you can edit before saving.
