This guide shows you how to track and analyze the engagement metrics for your in-app and emailed announcements within the Userorbit Admin Panel to understand their effectiveness.
Before You Begin
- You have published at least one announcement using the Userorbit Admin Panel.
- You have access to the Userorbit Admin Panel with appropriate permissions to view analytics.
Steps
- Access Announcement Analytics — Navigate to the Announcements section in the Userorbit Admin Panel and select the announcement you wish to analyze.
- Review View and Read Counts — Locate the "Overview" or "Engagement" tab for the selected announcement to find metrics like "View Count" (how many times the announcement was displayed) and "Read Count" (how many users engaged with the content for a defined duration).
- Monitor Reactions and Comments — Check the engagement section for data on user reactions (e.g., likes, emojis) and the number of comments received, if enabled for the announcement.
- Analyze Email Open Rates (for Email Announcements) — If your announcement was also sent via email, navigate to the email campaign report associated with the announcement to find the "Email Open Rate" and "Click-Through Rate" for links within the email.
- Track Call-to-Action (CTA) Click-Through Rates — For announcements containing interactive elements or buttons, examine the "CTA Clicks" or "Click-Through Rate" metric to see how many users interacted with your calls to action.
- Compare Performance Across Announcements — Utilize the Announcements dashboard or a dedicated analytics comparison tool within the Userorbit Admin Panel to benchmark the performance of different announcements against each other.
- Identify High-Performing Announcement Types — Analyze trends across your announcement history, correlating high engagement metrics with specific announcement types (e.g., product updates, new features, event invitations) to inform future content strategy.
