This guide shows you how to effectively view, analyze, and leverage survey responses within the Userorbit Admin Panel to inform product decisions.
Before You Begin
- Ensure you have an active Userorbit account with appropriate permissions.
- You must have created and launched at least one survey within Userorbit.
- Your survey needs to have collected responses to be analyzed.
Steps
- Navigate to the Surveys Dashboard — Log in to your Userorbit Admin Panel and click on the "Surveys" navigation link to access the main dashboard for managing and viewing your surveys.
- Select a Survey to Analyze — From the Surveys Dashboard, locate the specific survey you wish to analyze and click on its title or a dedicated "View Results" button to open its results page.
- Review Aggregate Statistics — On the survey results page, observe the key aggregate statistics such as response rate, average score, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) calculation (if your survey included an NPS question). These provide an immediate overview of your survey's performance.
- View Individual Responses — Navigate to the "Individual Responses" or similar section. Here, you can examine detailed responses from each participant, including their answers to all questions and any associated user properties.
- Filter and Segment Responses — Utilize the filtering options available (e.g., by date range, user properties, or specific question answers) to segment your data. This helps you analyze responses from particular user groups or during specific periods.
- Read Open-Text Feedback — Pay close attention to open-ended questions. Read through the qualitative feedback to understand user sentiment, identify common themes, and gather specific suggestions for improvement.
- Export Survey Data — Look for an "Export" or "Download" option, typically available in formats like CSV or Excel. This allows you to download your survey results for further in-depth analysis using external tools or for archiving.
- Apply Insights to Product Decisions — Based on your analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, identify trends, validate hypotheses about user behavior, and gather actionable insights to prioritize product improvements, feature development, or communication strategies.
