Send custom user properties to Userorbit and use them to target checklists.
Use a custom contact property to show a checklist to the audience that matches your product data.
Create and populate the property
- Go to Contacts → Properties and create a typed property.
- Send a value for known users with
identify()attributes orsetAttribute(). - Open a test contact and confirm the value is present.
Create a reusable segment
- Go to Contacts → Segments.
- Create a segment and add a rule for the property.
- Choose AND or OR intentionally when you add more rules.
- Save and verify the matching audience.
Target the checklist
Open the Checklists editor, find its audience or targeting settings, and select the saved segment. Preview and test with a contact that should match and one that should not match before publishing.
Keep targeting reliable
Use stable property names and types. Update values when account state changes, and review saved segments when a property definition changes.
