Add video inside a product tour step's rich content when a short clip explains the workflow better than text. Video is content within a dialog, pointer/tooltip, or banner step; it is not a separate step type.
Add video
- Edit a tour step in the in-app builder.
- Use the content editor's floating or bubble toolbar.
- Upload a video file, add a video URL, or embed supported HTML.
- For uploaded video, adjust size, left/center/right alignment, frameless display, or muted autoplay.
- Preview the step and publish the tour.
Supported URLs
The editor normalizes standard YouTube, Shorts, Live, embed, and youtu.be URLs, including start timestamps.
Troubleshooting
- If a hosted video does not load, verify it is publicly embeddable.
- If the player feels cramped, use a dialog-style step or resize the media.
