Add a published Interactive Demo to an announcement when readers should try a product flow without leaving the update. Userorbit renders the walkthrough directly on supported web surfaces and uses a safe link fallback in email.

Before you start

  • Publish the Interactive Demo you want to use.
  • Create or open an announcement.

Add the demo

  1. Place the cursor where the walkthrough should appear in the announcement body.
  2. Type / or open the insert menu and choose Interactive demo.
  3. Search the list of published demos.
  4. Select a demo to insert it.
  5. Preview the announcement and save or publish it.

Where the demo appears

The interactive embed is hydrated in announcement previews, the customer portal, public announcement pages, and the Userorbit widget. The embed uses a responsive 16:9 frame and a sandboxed iframe.

Email delivery

Email clients generally do not support interactive iframes. In announcement emails, Userorbit replaces the embed with a link labeled with the demo title so recipients can open the published walkthrough safely in a browser.

Edit or remove the demo

Select the demo block in the editor to change the published demo or remove the block. If the picker is empty, publish a demo first.

Troubleshooting

  • If the demo is missing from search, confirm its status is Published.
  • If a viewer cannot load the demo, verify the demo is still published and publicly reachable.
  • If email shows a link instead of the player, that is expected behavior.
