Edit or delete

Use the row action beside a custom property to edit its name, display name, type, description, or required state, or to delete it. Deletion is destructive; confirm that no segment or integration depends on the property first.

Best practices

  • Use stable lowercase keys with underscores.
  • Select the correct string, number, boolean, or date type before sending values.
  • Describe who owns the field and its allowed values.
  • Avoid collecting secrets or unnecessary personal data.
  • Test property-based segments with known contacts.
